Located in Huntsville, Utah, Snowbasin Ski Resort is a skier's hidden paradise. Short lift lines, luxury lodges, and pristine powder all come together to create one of the best resorts in Northern Utah. Alf Engen, a Norwegian skier, dubbed the area an "ideal ski area" in 1938 and soon after construction of the iconic Wildcat Lift began. The resort officially opened to the public in 1940 and immediately began attracting attention from locals and tourists alike. While the resort has changed owners and updated lodges, lifts, and much more over the years, the charm of the area remains unaltered.
Currently the Resort offers 3,000 skiable acres and a 3,000 foot vertical drop. With 107 runs, 12 lifts, and over 300 inches of average snowfall each year, Snowbasin has much to offer.
