Pineview Reservoir, located just east of Eden, is a 1,100-acre lake with boating, fishing, water skiing, and beach activities. To the east, Causey Reservoir is a 136-acre alpine lake in a canyon near Huntsville, approximately 11 miles upstream from Pineview Dam. It's a popular spot for fishing, particularly for Kokanee Salmon, and non-motorized activities like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.

The Ogden River, which feeds into Pineview Reservoir, offers excellent trout fishing, wildlife viewing, and recreational activities such as tubing and kayaking, with the South Fork section between Causey and Pineview reservoirs being particularly popular.

Pineview Reservoir

Pineview Reservoir is a popular recreational destination in the picturesque Ogden Valley. Causey Reservoir

The reservoir is renowned for its excellent fishing opportunities, particularly for Kokanee Salmon, which spawn in the fall, creating a vibrant display as they navigate up the tributaries. Ogden River

​Originating from the confluence of its North, South, and Middle Forks near Pineview Reservoir, the river flows westward, carving through Ogden Canyon before reaching the city of Ogden. This stretch of the river is known for its recreational offerings, including trout fishing, kayaking, and tubing, making it a favored spot for both locals and visitors.
