Snowbasin is a world-class ski resort and was chosen to host events during the 2002 Winter Olympics, and is set to host the alpine skiing events for the 2034 Winter Olympics.

Additional amenities such as new ski lifts, trails, a tubing hill, ice skating rink, amphitheater, parks, and a pond with a boathouse are also part of the project.
