Updates At Powder Mountain

Powder Mountain is reshaping the mountain experience across terrain, access, art, and infrastructure. Here's how:

  • New Lifts: The upcoming private lift, Davenport, has been approved for the 2025-2026 season. And a new public lift to Lightning Ridge will add 1,047 acres of public advanced terrain.
  • Upgraded Lifts: A new detachable quad for Paradise, fixed-grip quads for Timberline and Lightning Ridge, plus resident-reserved Raintree.
  • Return of Terrain Parks: Located on Confidence Run, is the beginner/intermediate-friendly Sundown Terrain Park. For advanced riders, Hidden Lake Terrain Park feature lines and a natural half pipe with a boarder-cross run.
  • Powder Art Foundation Launched: A nonprofit initiative led by Reed Hastings is integrating large-scale land art throughout the mountain to become a skiable outdoor art museum.
  • Brim Trail Closed: As part of major mountain-wide upgrades, Brim Trail, along with Brim Access, Brim Baggage, and Brim Short Cut, is closed for Summer 2025.
