Wolf Mountain Downhill and Super D

Are you a mountain-biker looking to get involved with the semi-professional mountain-biking scene?  Or do you simply enjoy the sport of mountain-biking?  Then you’ve got to check out the Wolf Mountain Downhill and Super D on June 8^th and June 9^th at Wolf Mountain Resort in Liberty.

The Wolf Mountain Downhill and Super D is the second of four races in the 2013 Utah Downhill Race Series.  The first race, the Sundance Showdown will be held during Memorial Day weekend at Sundance Ski Resort.  After the Wolf Mountain Downhill and Super D, the third race, the Pomerelle Pounder, will take place on July 27^th and 28^th at Pomerelle Ski Resort in Malta, Idaho.  The final race, the Flyin’ Brian, will be held at Brian Head Ski Resort in southern Utah on August 10, 2013.

If you wish to participate in any of the four races of the 2013 Utah Downhill Race Series, you must register with the Utah Downhill governing body.  To learn how to register, visit www.utahdh.org.

While you’re at Wolf Mountain for the race, be sure to experience all that Ogden Valley has to offer.  Visit one of the area’s fine restaurants, including Carlos and Harley’s, Eats of Eden, or The Oaks in Ogden Canyon.  Or hike one of the beautiful trails surrounding Wolf Mountain.  Pineview Reservoir is extremely pleasant this time of year, so take a dip or rent a watercraft from Club Rec.  You’ll find no shortage of things to do in Ogden Valley.
