Park City Mountain Resort, commonly referred to as Park City by locals, is located 34 miles east of Salt Lake City in Park City, Utah. Opened in 1963, the resort is the oldest of the three Park City ski resorts. The US Ski Team trains on the slalom and giant slalom runs at Park City Mountain Resort. During the 2002 Winter Olympics, the resort hosted men's and women's alpine giant slalom events, as well as all snowboarding events.
